A 5-inch dual-SIM Windows-skinned budget Android phone, the Nokia XL that comes up short in almost every respect to the counter part – The Android.

Microsoft CEO might very well stop the mass production of low end Nokia phones and most importantly Nokia XL –the flagship product from Nokia which resulted as a marriage between Nokia and Android.

Nokia XL is a smart phone aimed at re-establishing Nokia's foothold in the developing world, where low-cost Android devices threaten to dominate and share huge customers and profit.

Our Reuters reported that Nokia won't be sticking around the Android world in any respect, skinned or otherwise, dashing hopes that we'll ever see Nokia's hardware prowess successfully married the openness and adaptability of Android.

It's very evident and clear from Microsoft that Windows phone will be the answer to Microsoft struggling economy. Nokia XL and other low end devices will be set aside and their production line will be stopped. Focus will be on to make next generation Microsoft-Nokia Windows Phone that can compete directly with the top brass out there – Apple iPhone, Samsung – Galaxy Android.

Well, time only can tell us, how much fast does Nokia – Microsoft Windows Phone wins the heart of customers in terms of price, hardware, features and functionalities.
